JLT 5500 Two-Post Automotive Lift

The John Bean® JLT 5500 is a hydraulic 2-post lift engineered to accommodate lifting medium to heavy-duty vehicles and passenger cars up to 5.500 kg capacity.

This sturdy 2-post lift has features designed to simplify the lives of shop technicians specializing in service repair for vans and cars. Available in two height options at the time of installation, the JLT 5500 can accommodate vans with very high roof clearance and a long wheelbase. Additionally, a diverse range of accessories makes the JLT 5500 a reliable, professional aid in the service repair shop.

The JLT 5500 is equipped with a CE Stop that automatically halts the carriage 120mm above the floor in place of mechanical foot protectors to ensure optimal safety.

Features

THREE-STAGE ARMS

Front and rear three-stage arms always allow perfect access to the pick-up points of the vehicle.

ARM LOCK SYSTEM

The new, innovative arm lock system complies with the latest version of EN 1493-2022, which entails stronger requirements compared to the previous version, EN 1493-2010.

CONTROLS

The controls are positioned in an ergonomic location on the primary column, featuring clear indications for each operational button. An optional remote control box can be mounted to the secondary column.

FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION

The lift is available in two versions for your choice of height low and high.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

SHUT-OFF BAR

The foam-protected overhead shut-off bar prevents damage to the vehicle if it comes into contact with the upper part of the lift.

PROTECTED CABLES / HOSES

Operation controls are in an ergonomic place on the primary column with clear indications of each operation.

CE STOP

The CE Stop automatically halts the carriage 120mm above the floor to ensure optimal safety, reducing risk of operator foot injury while maintaining drive-through width, unlike mechanical foot protectors.
